I know I have already posted pictures of this in all aspects amazing event --but now I got moving images! Enjoy!

Also a quick update on Arnauto's gf situation -- it's a bit of an "bitch, please" item -- apparently he did NOT say all those things about silicone and tatts and black hair... Hmmmmm. He says, he never gave that interview in the first place. DUH!

Alright. Suppose he got scared by the applications he got...

Alright, here is your chance now at becoming Astronautovic's new gf! It's easy like one-two-three!

APPLYCollapse )NOW!!! (Make sure to file this under ~bizarre~)
Werder is broke as broke can be so KATS whored the boys out for a horse-race to then do some serious betting this Sunday in Bremen. He bet Werder's very last cash (2 Euro's from the Özil transfer) on a very special race! With micro-ponies and Werder jockeys (or rather: jocks?)!

Yet when looking at the available competition... idk. Which of these looks like a winner to you?

Obvs he won!

Their run for the title continues!

Germany's U17 team basically destroyed those eleven US twinks in their RD 16 match in Mexico today. FOUR(!) : nil. They did not stand a chance, ever.

First, some post-scoring cuddles. To tease you into this post!

Röcker (#3) is a bit shy when it comes to manpiling...

Out of all options, Frings has to decided to sign for MLS side Toronto FC. Not Leeds United. Nor Glasgow Rangers. There was some live-stream of the presser, I watched it with taversham and it made me all kinds of sad.

First of all, strange coach - wrong colors - wrong teammates, some out-of-training Dutchie (Koevermans from PSV Eindhoven) sitting next to Frings... Quite a miserable sight to look at. And there was some live-comments going on parallel to the live-stream and people repeatedly asked if Winters will remain coach with TFC. Idk. Does not sound too good to me. Also Toronto FC has been hitting bottom of the Eastern Conference table real hard and set out presenting Koevermans along with Frings with high hopes of changing that poor result... I am not so informed about the in's and out's of Canada's MSL, but it does not sound like a sweet retirement deal, but more like: WORK! Klinsmann is advisor/manager to that club and he apparently was in charge of arranging the new signings. Klinsmann, you all say! Yes. That Klinsi.

Any thoughts?

Here is some random screen-cap from the presser, Frings wearing that godawful scarf (and his signature black cap)...

And here is the link to TFC's homepage - it might still have the video of the presser available somewhere.

Also fun: reading the comments. Maybe the only fun thing in all of this. And, NO Frings does not speak English, in case you're having hopes for the lulz - he got a translator. Needless to say, the whole god damn thing felt odd and made me sad thorughout.
Frings signed for, now fasten your seat-belts: TWO-AND-A-HALF YEARS!!! Is that Klinsman's way of soothing those wounds from Löw giving Frings the boot? Idk. We do not know how much he makes, though. Funny enough, he got particularly praised and was signed for his leadership qualities, apparently they lack that at TFC (=Toronto Fired Chicken? Idk).

He'll get the 22 though (has a special clause in his contract, OF COURSE).

Here is a Canadian article on that mess...

Alright - we ALL experience that terribly Buli drought currently and suffer from a severe case of Werder Bremen deprivation. (I regularly get cold shivers comes Saturday around, iykwim). But you don't have to! May I recommend a strong remedy: watch the U17 WC in Mexico! It's fun aaaaaaaaaand comes with a dash of green-white Werder twinkness!

Watch Werder's pride - Werder's future: Cimo Röcker (left back) and Levent Aycicek (offensive midfielder) get busy down in Mexico over the next two weeks. If their winning streak continues, we may see them play in one of the most-historic stadiums, the Aztec Stadium, in the U17 WC final. Maybe some of you recall that epic 1986 WC final, when Germany lost to Argentine in overtime - if not - do get yourselves a google education real quick. Burruchaga, anyone?

So back during Christmas, I was so torn as to who I should get on the back of my first Werder jersey. Well, with the announcement that Torsten's contract would not be extended, I just knew! So I got online and ordered my first Werder Bremen jersey and, in fact, my first jersey that has a name on the back of it at all.

Frist, some serious side-eye-throwing business, Petri Pasanen unexpectedly decided to sign with: RED BULL Salzburg (aka= den Dosen)! Instead of staying with his old love, Werder. Out of all clubs, that plasticky club. Oh well. *Shrugs*

Now that shit got leaked, this will affect Werder's future planning - they need (even) more newbies!! Rub your eyes, for next season, beloved old-fashioned WB will go totally experimental and revamp itself! A whole NEW Werder! OMG!

NEO_WERDERCollapse )
As a general rule, Werder will be very much Greek-Turkish -- nah, not mud-or oil-wrestling, but player-wise. Here is the deal!
These are going to be officially required "Event" hats...
